I am a fully qualified and experienced couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, which since its foundation in 1948 has been a leading, internationally recognised institution for couple counselling and psychotherapy. I continue to work and see clients at Tavistock Relationships alongside my private practice. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Tavistock Relationships Association for Psychotherapists and Counsellors (TRAPC) and I adhere to their professional code and ethical guidelines.
I have further developed my specialism by undertaking further training in Mentalisation-Based Therapy for Couple Therapy at Tavistock Relationships. This specific training, known as MBT-CT, is a form of psychotherapy for those who find that their arguments can get very stormy and heated. MBT-CT for couples therapy can help couples to understand their emotional responses better by focusing on their partner’s feelings as well as their own.
I hold a full DBS check.
