I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist working both with couples and individuals.

Welcome

I have been a psychodynamic psychotherapist for couples and individuals for many years and I am truly passionate about helping clients navigate relational challenges by exploring the unconscious dynamics that shape their interactions. My work is rooted in the belief that past experiences, particularly from early relationships, significantly influence present-day relational patterns.

With many years of clinical practice, I served as a senior visiting clinician, assessor and personal tutor for trainees at Tavistock Relationships in London, a renowned international centre for couples therapy training and research.

Using a warm, collaborative approach, I help couples and individuals identify and understand recurring conflicts, emotional triggers, and underlying unmet needs. My goal is to create a safe therapeutic space where both partners feel heard, supported, and empowered to foster deeper intimacy and more authentic connection

My approach integrates contemporary psychodynamic theory with emotionally focused and attachment-based practices. I pay close attention to unconscious motivations and the emotional narratives each partner brings into the relationship. Sessions focus on increasing emotional insight, improving communication, and fostering mutual empathy.

Psychotherapy may initially feel unfamiliar, but it is essentially a conversation aimed at fostering understanding of personal experience leading to greater appreciation of what might have led you to feel distressed. Whether you are facing a difficulty right now, carrying something from the past, or maybe even worrying about the future, life can sometimes make us feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. It is important not to feel alone during these challenging times. Counselling can provide a safe and confidential space where you will feel listened to and supported, allowing you to make sense of what is happening and restore peace within yourself.
